As I leaf through my own dog-eared and splattered
copy, I can't help but smile thinking back to the casual and elegant occassions which the recipes helped to make special. Delicious sounding titles including savoury baked brie, lemon orzo salad with baby spinach, feta and caramelized onion, pasta with arugula, mozzarella and roasted tomatoes, and spanish cake with maple cream icing, truly are mouth-watering and inevitably garner recipe requests. The book is filled with attractive photos and Magwood's own personal anecdotes, making it a delight to read as well as cook from.
